The Society for Safe and Caring Schools & Communities hosts a video contest every year for Alberta Schools to take part. This year we were amazed by many videos and it was a tough choice to choose 2 videos to highlight at our breakfast and on our website. This years video contest theme was Don’t be a BYstander. Be an UPSTANDER.
The winner in the Elementary Category were students from Greater St. Alberta Catholic Schools (Ecole Marie Poburan, Ecole Father Jan and Ecole Secondaire Sainte Marguerite d’Youville)
The winner in the Junior High Category was Ecole Madeleine d’Houet (Caglary)
The wining groups received:
- $100 giftcard from Chapters
- Tickets to our Creating Safe Spaces Waffle Breakfast on November 14th, 2012 in Edmonton, AB
- videos was shown at our Creating Safe Spaces Waffle Breakfast on November 14th, 2012
- videos showcased on our website, Twitter, Facebook and /or Youtube accounts
